I do my magic show by myself. What are some inexpesive illusions that you can do by yourself? Because my audiences are smaller and I perform in all situations it needs to be able to be done in any setting. I am also interested in the possibility of building illusions.

There have been loads of threads discussing this in the past. Your best bet would be to use the search function as there is an abundance of information on here.

Andrew Mayne has published several illusions that sound like exactly what you are looking for. Check out Razor Wire.

Andrew Mayne's website is chock full of "one man" illusions.
You could also try "The Wiz Kids"

Several of the illusions mentioned don't take into account your specific constraints (cheap, any environment).
Here are a few pieces to consider... Sands of Egypt Linking Rings Strait Jacket Escape (or any sort of rope/chain escape) Chair suspension (can get these for 300-600 dollars typically) Snowstorm in China There are plenty of options! Some take more work than others (e.g. linking rings) and most of these pack small (except chair suspension). So look around and think first about the type of magic you want to perform and then investigate pieces that fit your requirements.

It is a wood and metal structure that looks like an hour glass shape. you stand behind it, lift a cloth(which is on the far side of the device(closest to the audience)), move the cloth down and you are standing in from of the hour glass shape, It also invovles 2 audience members who, prior to you doing the walk thru, are given a rope which you clearly cut, to hold, and a picture you clearly drew, and once you walked back in time, they show thew rope restored and the paper blank...
