Nice little article on 6 Ugly truths you need to accept to pull yourself out of a rut. Point 3 seems to fit this group to a T.

Great observation, and seems really applicable. I think I'll keep this in my back brain to keep me from posting too quickly, and unnecessarily.

Been doing that myself for a bit now. Much easier than getting one's self in a snit. This way I get to agree with whom I wish and silently tell those on the fringes with whom I disagree to, well, you get the idea.

Not to write them down as received wisdom, demand the papers be treated as holy relics of "the unflushed word" , not demand status as a religion, and not rest until those who were not so gifted respect and follow your words... ?
