Go to http://www.rapidmagic.com it is on there.
Alternatively, it is on Daryls video, volume 7, or Kaufmans Basic Card Technique video aswell. Hope that helps, Tom |

Unsure of the best DVD or video, but for a web description with photographs you might check out http://www.rapidmagic.com.
Once you've learnt it you might want to check out some of the excellent packet tricks I sell, Paul. |

Daryl's volumne 7 has the best visual example--- Max Maven's book, Focus has the best written description.
This is one of those sleights that will be feel really clumsy at first and then one day in practice it will just work. In my case, I had an idea for a christmas version of twisting the aces by Vernon and I was determined to learn the count. I read the Maven directions and sat down to work on it-- two days later I was still working on it when it suddeny worked. Now I don't give it a second thought in performance. I must have 9 routines based on it --- so it is versatile and well worth the effort to learn it. Good Luck, Rolando |

Then, after you learn it well, you will no doubt see another magician who does it in a different way than you, and you like better than the way you do it. I can't speak for everyone, but I went through about 3 different methods before I came to the one I currently use.
I agree with Rolando about the versatility of the move. I use it a lot. But more importantly, some routines' deceit is based almost entirely upon it. That is why I am so fussy about it. |

Dan has a point, I think I use three variations depending on the effect and the conditions. I am always fiddling with a hand position.
Some people pull the left hand others never move the left hand. I tend to pull the cards up to the right and then back down, while others pull the directly to the right. My personal favorite is familiar version used for Twisting the Aces. There is something about that move done slowly that just looks great. By the way, it has been 7 years or so since I learned it and I still practice it weekly because nothing is worse than doing it badly. Rolando Rolando |

Giobbi suggests moving the left hand packet to emphasise the "count". This way the "funny business" with the right hand is emphasised less. Another tip that he credits Juan Tamariz for is looking up for this part of the count also.
As somebody said on another thread, you spend all that time working onthe move then never get to see it in action! Billy
