Since most tools and knives were made of copper, one of iron was special and suitable only for the pharaoh. A prized possession, which incidentally was attracted to lodestones, the natural occurring magnets . Think of the possibilities. Ooooooeeeeeoooo! |

Before Islam, there was a cult to deities represented by meteorites. The Black Stone is a meteorite. Arrows of fire are thrown by angels to repel Djinns from paradise.
In Tibet, many ritual items like phurbus, mirors and dorje are made from meteorites. |
