Can guys palm halves or are you doing it only with dollar sized coins? I haven't measured the thickness of my knuckles, but going from front to back palm, the coin always falls out as my knuckles start to come through my fingers. It is as if the two fingers are so thick, that they separate the fingers holding the coin and it just falls. Is it possible this is impossible for some hands and a half, or do I just need to keep at it?

Hi man! Yea I have small hands And I can Back palm 2 or 3 Barbar half's ! But I use a back palm Where the coin does not turn over when yo do it! I find that after you get used to it it's a lot easier! So just keep after it! It does not come over night!!!

If you want some back palm workouts, obtain David Neighbors lecture notes Coinjuring volume 1, routine called Triple Spellbound. He puts this move to good use in that fine effect, and plus there's lots of other good magic in there.

The easy stuff is very magical. I also like the coins from dollar bill. And the back palming in the other flows very naturally, good way to learn.

Flightrisk, I gave up backpalming for Lent one year, and never went back to it.....
Seriously, though -- I don't even try to do this anymore. Instead, I go for more of a clip. I never do it for more than a second or so, but that's enough, right? |

True, I flip it and back clip it between index and middle finger. Glad I'm not the only one!

Not only is it a bit difficult to backpalm halves but it's really not necessary anymore. A Tenkai Pinch works just as well, probably much more flexibly, I'd think.

Yes they are.
My backpalm is horrible though, David, unless I'm using a very particular size of coin. Just horrible. You would not want to see it. |

By releasing the pinkie the coin then is in backclip between first and second fingers. Perhaps better than the Goshman Pinch. Gregg Webb

Personally I never found much use for it, except to do it for the sake of the move.
You might look into back-thumb palm, Tenki, and maybe even deep back clip |
