I just received my copies of Dracula and Frankenstein 2.0. I knew the method from other book tests (I used it very successfully with Kranzo's Diction), but the way it is implemented here left me a little dubious. In both books each chapter starts on a right page, and the text starts considerably low on the page. Without disclosing too much (please let me know if that's the case: I'll edit!), I find it hard to perform the effect as described if you land on a chapter heading - and there are many! I guess you could safely do it mirror-like, BUT I feel it would sound unnatural to ask people to memorize the last word of the first line of the page on the right... Memorization could get me around the problem too, but 120 of my hard-earned dollars say I shouldn't have to go that way. Any suggestions? Recommendations?
With many thanks from a beginner, Marco |

Thanks Minty. Unfortunately what you suggest in your PM applies only to some (not all) of the chapter headings of Frankenstein. One would still need to memorize which chapters rely on that "little something", and figure out a way to deal with the chapters that do not have such aid. Dracula's chapter headings do not even have that, they just follow the standard procedure without taking into account the different graphic arrangement.
