I live in Utah, which is a desert, and sometimes my hands get really dry. It gets to the point that it is harder to palm and stuff. Then when I try to use lotion it makes my hands way to slippery.
Anyone else running into these same things? What's the best way to remedy the situation? |

Hi there.
I think the lotion works on a long term basis. Use it regularly to keep the skin hydrated. Of course you must not do any manipulation soon after using. Another thing you can do is go to your local Office Depot, Staples or office supply store and get some "Sortkwik". This is the waxy substance used to make fingertips tacky for sorting papers. You can apply to the palms and fingers.... rub it into the hands until they are dry. You hands will be less slippery and it lasts about a half hour or so.
Mediocrity is greatly under rated!

Do a search on "dry hands" in the "Pick a card..." forum. Lots of earlier discussions. Try this to start:
