A couple weeks ago or so my computer crashed, lost everything, including my passwords - (lesson learned: keep them written down somewhere instead of just on the computer...).
The "forgot password" link wasn't working for me, and I've not been able to get any help from the people who run this forum, so I can't get back in on my "Dickens & Dave" username, so I had to sign up fresh under my original username. So if anyone sent me a pm over the past couple weeks or so, this is why you did not get a reply. |

Dave,
I have iPhone and ipad apps that store my passwords. Never can have them stored in too many places. Yes, it takes a password to get into the apps. |

I had all of mine in a neat little program on the computer, and I could back up the list easily, and did often on an external drive, but in order to open up those backups you need that program, and I couldn't find it anywhere anymore to re-download it.
I knew I needed to write them down somewhere, kept thinking I needed to do that, but I didn't. On the plus side, they say you should change your passwords periodically, which I don't, so now I've had to do that. |
