As founder and manager I am very proud to introduce my friend Tom Frank as our very special GUEST OF HONOR for September 2013!

Tom brings years of experience to the magical table and I am confident there is much we all can learn from him to help make our magic better!

Thanks for joining us Tom! Smile

Tom Frank is one of the few entertainers who is just as comfortable performing
on the street or at the fanciest social gathering. Many acts do not translate
well from one venue to another, but such is NOT the case with Mr. Frank.

I am proud to also call Tom Frank a trusted Brother In The Biz!
I look forward to not only reading, but learning from this week's discussion here.

Tom "Keeps It Real" and posts here at The Magic Café pretty frequently.
Here is a link to his website http://www.industrialstrengthmagic.com/

It seems odd to welcome you to The Magic Café as a frequent visitor here,
but I shall formerly welcome you here guy! Looking forward to reading your
responses!

Thanks guys! This should be an interesting experiment to see how deep we can get into this thing called magic. More specifically how to make a living at it! Got questions. . . ask away! In the meantime I will post some topis we can talk about.

Tom may be able to navigate the nuances of the streets as well as the fanciest social gathering, but the real test will be how he handles the members here on the Café. Much different than his muggle friends over on Facebook. The gauntlet has been thrown down Tom! And welcome Tom..have fun!

Hello Tom!

I seem to remember that you and I met at a SCHOOL ASSEMBLY SERVICE SHOWCASE in Chicago, sometime in the mid '80s. Do you remember such a meeting? I seem to recall your doing some nice stuff with Harold Sterling's "LONG & SHORT ROPE.

I like very much your coin work on the short bit at the UNIVERSAL WALK. --DITTO, your handling of the rings.

1. What you did with coins and sewers.
2. Growing up with magicians like Homer, Korn, Shawn, and Brett.
3. Lessons learned from owning magic shops.
4. Where do you see brick & mortar magic shops in 5, 10 years.
5. Some stories of your time with Cellini.
