I was hoping to get some input. Would you suggest Ackermans Advanced Card Control Series or Daryl's Encyclopedia of Card Sleight? I don't have either and was wondering what people who have seen them have to say.
Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into the ditch?

I have the complete series of both Allan Ackerman's Advanced Card Control Series, and Daryl's Encyc. of Card Sleights. Both have their merits. The thing I like about Ackerman's series is each video covers one sleight. For example, Volume 1 covers palming, Volume 5 covers Shuffle work. At the end of each tape, Ackerman shows 3-8 effects using what you've learned.
As good as the series is, I prefer Daryl's Encyclopedia of Card Sleights series. Simply put, Daryl is(IMO) a much better teacher. He adds insights to many of the slights that he teaches that I would never have thought of. His improvement on the Eight Card brainwave is priceless. Daryl Also provides "trick breaks" at various spots in the tape, but not as many as Allan Ackerman's tapes. In truth, you can't go wrong with either one. I may prefer Daryl's, but I like both. Good Luck with whatever you decide... Curtis |

Depends upon how much you already know. My guess is Daryl, but not knowing your present skill level or depth of knowledge it' really hard to give you good advice.

This topic is continued at Ackerman vs. Daryl (opinions).
Humans make life so interesting. Do you know that in a universe so full of wonders, they have managed to create boredom. Quite astonishing.
