There is a mem deck routine on the Penguin Magic Live by Boris Wild that is worth the price purchasing the lecture .. something I have added to my routine and it gets exciting reactions from spectators.

Name of the routine? Time mark?

Thanks for the heads up. That's enough for me to want to make a purchase, but only if the cards are not, well, gaffed in the way that BW's cards often are. Does the routine require a m**ked deck in addition to a memorized stack?

His lecture is a worthwhile purchase in any case, imho! Engaging and fun lecture, full of great moments!

I believe this routine also appeared in an issue of Genii featuring Boris Wild.
It's all in the reflexes.

Maybe I'm thinking like a magician here but I wasn't very excited with this... At all. The music is a nice touch but the whole set up and explaining is extremely long winded, I was bored to tears. He found her card, no more - no less.
The idea with a memdeck and a m***** deck is clever though, the principle in play could be used with some other presentation. But hey, each to his own and all that... Just my two centavos.

For some reason I just cringe when he does that "we made it" remark after each reveal. It is actually painful to me.

That's true. It is sometimes really painful. So, the softer the better.
