I like St. Augustine.
Lord make me good, just not yet. (or something like that) Please let us know what you used. I love to hear experience...rather than opinions. Harris ..still working on his classic pall um ....and wishing his jokes did not require Pall um bearers...

Dick Oslund wrote, """No--gothike! DO NOT
perform PN "as mentioned above"! (They'll laugh you off the stage! (At least you got "trinity" right.)""" Dick (no pun intended), FYI, one of the Don Bosco movies has him performing professors nightmare. I also know the routine is not contemporary to Saint John Bosco. So besides having performed at several Catholic School, gone to a High School named After Saint John Bosco and actually teaching some Salesian priest the routine. Still havn't gotten laughed off the stage.

The movie was 1% truth and 99% filler. There is only one historical reference of him performing magic for children. No mention of him tying it to a biblical message or what kind of tricks he performed. I would rather remember him as someone who did much more for the church than for having the learned skill of sleight of hand.

Danny Kazam,
The movie though not historically accurate does have his overall message and work with children. Like it or Not people that have seen the movie, now believe he performed the rope trick. In religious class, teachers are more likely to show the movie and a lecture afterwards. When his relics passed thru S California some of the schools were showing his movie to the students. Did the baseball player, Babe Ruth Point out to the left field and hit a home run. I doubt it. But people believe he did. Sometimes a myth becomes larger than life.

Actually, Babe Ruth did call it. He pointed to center field and then hit a home run.

Actually, your wrong.
In a conference Ruth and the Pitcher Root confirmed that Ruth did not point to the midfield. But it's still a good story.
