Do you remember this effect put out by Bob in '93?
Effect: The performer produces a coin. It is placed into the soectator's hand and closed. "Where do you live?", asks the performer? "Show me!" The hand is opened and the coin has magically changed into a flat world. The magician takes the flat world, brings it to his mouth and blows, and it magically turns into a round world." Actually there at least five routines taught with the purchase. It used a small round world keychain globe AND a matching FLAT world globe. I sure do miss the effect. I can find the round keychain globes easily via Google, but my search fails to turn up the needed, matching flat globe. Has anybody here seen these flat globes anywhere? My Google search has been fruitless.

I guess they just don't make them anymore. The one Bob put out was the same size as the globe so you could switch them.
I truly miss that effect. But I thank you guys for trying. And Bob is gone, now. I suppose if I had a sledge hammer I could buy two globes and flatten one myself..

Hi Daff, Several years ago I went to a McAllister lecture on bottom palming(magnet in the hip pocket). He was selling small globes and flat globes as part of his lecture. The flat globe is about 2" in diameter and 3/8" thick. Is that what you are looking for?

Yeah. They were the size of a quarter, I recall, so that you could switch them for the coin. But they are just not around any more.
