Well I liked the overall routine and your thinking behind it, but in my opinion I don't like the first palm when you're about to show the aces. I would rather eliminate that.

Here's two suggestions:
1) You can use a more traditional approach like Arnaud Chevrier Starship leader that sets up the aces first in the table (by an addition of two cards first)
2) You can set down the piles first and then the aces but eliminating the first palm and use a gambler's cop as a substitute which I think will be less akward / obvious.
If you have an apple and I have an apple, when we exchange them we both have an apple. If I have an idea and you haven an idea, when we exchange them we both have two ideas.
