I have this book and have gotten as much information from that I can. This book sells new for $30. If anyone wants it, I'll sell it to you for $12 and will include free shipping. Even if you don't want to perform this, it's a great book full of a ton of great information!

Chris,
Do you do the climbing into the balloon thing? The reason I ask is that I've read a lot of your posts and haven't heard you mention it before. Also if you do it is it possible to tell the difference between you and Buster?

Here's a link to photo's from our first show: http://tinyurl.com/l8sl8yd The way I perform this is 101% polar opposite as Buster does. If memory serves, Buster comes out and does a bit with a whoopee cushion and then goes into his routine. As you can see from the photo's from our act, my routine in the RSC is completely different as it's more of a 2 person bit. I began been "working" on this act now for a few months and have performed it professionally at one show. Wasn't easy for me to perform but I now have a good handling on it. Unfortunately, you really need to be dedicated to learning this both physically and financially if you're going to do it. It was VERY EXPENSIVE for me to learn as I went thru a ton of 6' balloons...but after our first show, our fee payed for all the balloons I used in rehearsals and the show and then some and we still made a few bucks each...so I'm pretty happy about that. The book is now SOLD.

So your show is a hobo clown with a mini guitar, a man dressed like a banana holding a giant orange, and an athletic pirate on a unicycle?

When you present this, is it like a daredevil stunt?
Do you bother trying to "justify" anything? (Why go in the balloon; why take off shoes and jacket; etc) Just asking because I've heard things like that from others. Ditto on the expense -- I'm waiting to get more balloons myself! Ed |

I buy them from Continental Sales. I'm sure their are other places, but that's where I get mine.
