I seen a trick performed and i fell in love with it and i was wondering if someone could tell me were i could learn from a book etc it was created by alex elmsley it is called ''the Crimp'' .Basically what happens is the magician gets the four aces put them into a faned faced up deck , then all of a sudden the cards are shown as double backed. Then he picks four double backed cards out of the pack showing both sides to be backs then turns them over to show the 4 aces the he revels all the faces in the whole deck.
The trick is done with a normal deck |

hi
dont think its called the crimp... the only effect i know which sounds the same as you describe is called "all backs with aces" and is described in the complete alex elmsley volume one.. its a cool trick.. By the way, its not quite a normal deck (nearly is though). Hope that helps. http://www.abdn.ac.uk/~u17emb/magicden.html |
