Yes Tom as far as actually doing magic you gotta have a bit of finger dexterity first. My grand daughter knows how to do the magic coloring book, but her chubby little fingers can't handle the move.

Signed a little girls name on a card, had her hold it, then when she looked at it, her mother said, What does it say? She said, I don't know, but that's not my name any more! So, at 5 they can comprehend Magic!
