Hi.
I am looking for some "balls" to use with tea cups for the cups and balls. I really want to use some plastic fruit(to have an impromptu feel), but I haven't been able to find some that handles well. What would you recommend? Thanks |

Sugar cubes, one lump or two? .. or three?
You may be able to inject a hollow rubber grape with clear silicon calk to give it weight.
Nothing would get done at all, if man waited so long that no one could find fault with it.

I remember someone using Pop's cereal.
You could also do the Max Malini method and cut a wine cork into three pieces. |

There are so many alternatives for balls - olives, balled-up banknotes, paper napkin balls, cherries, etc.

Thanks for the mention.
If you are going to use tea cups for the routine, why not just use pick up a bag of real cherries and use those? In fact, get a small bowl that matches the tea cups and saucers and set out a bowl of cherries at the same time you set out the cups. Spread out a lacy table cloth and put down some napkins; produce cookies (or "biscuits" depending upon where you are from) as final loads, use a tea kettle/lota vase, and you have a whole "tea party" theme. There's a video on You Tube of Dave Williamson doing a routine with tea cups and he appears to be using the fruit that is at hand. |

You can make realistic Fortune Cookies out of leather circles -- and crumpled foil has many advantages. I have used artificial rose buds also

I would prefer to use real fruit. But then I would have to buy before each session
