I will be soon building a shadow box illusion and am after some advice with regards to the design. It will be built to break down using split pin hinges.
1. Best size of timber for the frame with regards to stability v weight? 2. Most of the one's I've seen are approx 1m heigh, my assistant is rather short (5ft). Would reducing the height affect the the appearance of the assistant? Any advice appreciated. |

My advice: make a mock-up of cardboard and check if the sizes are allright.

Making the frame size proportional to the panel you are using generally creates a good looking prop.
I spent most of my money on magic and women, the rest i just wasted
