Question and an idea. I have seen many quick changes where confetti/streamers/etc. have been "dumped" on someone and then their outfit changes. Usually the confetti is metallic/silvery in color.
What if the confetti was thrown at the changee? Could it still work? I image it as part of a comedic bit, and not the "awe and wonder" of usual quick-changes. Oh, if someone wants to use this idea go ahead. Just post a video of it here if possible. |

If you understand the purpose for the confetti, you should be able to partially answer your own question. I suggest you go throw some confetti to see what you can and cannot "see".

I've been doing quick change for many many years. As with any form of magic, I think one of your best friends will be a video camera. Tape all your experiments with quick change and watch them closely. You will learn quickly what works and what doesn't. It's a long road of practice and experimentation, dare I say like all magic? hehe.
As for a confetti based change, I think the result of your trials may vary depending on your methods technically/mechanically for that change. Quick change must be very precise and extreamly well rehearsed. Take your time, watch your practice videos and go from there. Good luck |

The confetti change is the most difficult change ever exist. Many performances of practice a artist need for it. I'm right in reading - you want to change the color of confetti? (excuse my bad english)
