See this thread:
--> Magic Café thread titled... Santa! On the thread, is a link to photos of a couple of Santa Illusions that I've built and use in my shows. I've built "Here Comes Santa Claus" (Sleigh Illusion) and "Happy Holidays" (Chimney Illusion), from the Paul Osborne Plans in The Big Black Book. - Donald P.S. Don't forget that John Kaplan also has a DVD titled, "Santa Appears", with several illusion ideas on it. I haven't seen the DVD, but I've heard good things about it. http://www.fundraisingmagic.com/santa_appears.htm

You might be able to find it used (you would need to buy the original framework and the add-on, unless you buy are planning to alter the original white panels). Fairchild Magic makes a Santa production that looks like a toy-shop-themed Arabian Tent (I assume that's the method of this illusion). - Donald

We used a Giant Book (Book of Life) for many of our mall Santa productions, we have some great stories about some of the Santas, and even some mall mascots, that we produced from that sucker!! I've now got two of them!

I was produced from one a few weeks ago. It was not built for someone of my size so it took some creative staging. I loved being Santa!
