I'm a big fan of Richard's work. I've purchased several items from his website in the past and completely missed this...
Belated thanks for the review and heads up. Brian |

I really need to go back and watch this. I've performed his Hands Off so many times since learning it from Six Shooter.

I recently started watching The Sapphire Collection again. It is so good. The first time I watched the performance of Hands Off I had absolutely no idea how it was done, and had that wonderful feeling of being completely mystified. I watched the performance a second time and still had no clue. Really outstanding routine.
My personal favorite from this set is Richard's Vinyl Folder Q & A. This is essentially his Thought Scan routine, but using a vinyl folder you can buy at any office supply store instead of his Thought Scan board. Close-up, step-by-step instructions for how to secretly "acquire" and then "access" the information make it very easy. Richard presents this Q & A not as question answering, but audience mind reading ala Dunninger and Kreskin, where you reveal pieces of information such as pet's names, street addresses, birth dates, anniversary dates, names of family members, vacation destinations and more. I own just about every DVD set Richard Osterlind released, and this is one of my favorites. Fantastic content and beautifully produced. It's fun to go back and re-visit products I bought where I feel the content was so good the price paid was a bargain, and this is one of those purchases. . |
