Pop, I've been itching to get my crockpot going and I think your recipe has done the trick Once you've had coleslaw on top of the bbq, you'll never go back, mark my words! Thanks all!!!

Pop, I will as soon as we get through the holiday foods going on right now.
Lunatik, for what it's worth, coleslaw on a hot dog is considered a southern delicacy. Give it a shot some day. I love 'em!

Pop,
The locals loved your cornbread so much, I opened a franchise down here in San Diego. |

Down south, it's called a slaw dog... go figure. http://offthebroiler.wordpress.com/2007/......varsity/ (scroll down) Southerners use a slightly sweet, mayo-based coleslaw, but there are variations. This Asian style looks really good... spike with a little Sriracha mayo. http://www.ziplist.com/recipes/1796151-A......cha_Mayo Just got my grocery sales ad and pork loin is on sale after Christmas!!

Don't know if you guys have ever heard of it (Pop might have)...it's called Cornpone. It's cornbread often made without milk or eggs and baked or fried (southern). My family is from Loganville, GA. The pan it's made in is a cast iron skillet divided into sections. Here is a pic:
http://galleryplus.ebayimg.com/ws/web/37......1000.jpg I do not know the recipe. There are dozens online. To me, there is no better. Doug |

Yeah. It's good. Kind of like hushpuppy, but flat.

My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums. |

LOL! Love the cartoon color palette in the old Technicolor movies.
