Figured that would get everyone's attention.
So I get home tonight from the movies with my wife. We went to see Lord of the Rings (good movie, but beside the point). We get home from the 3 plus hour movie and I'm pretty tired. Looking forward to hitting the sack, and as I turn the corner I notice there are 5 or 6 cars in my driveway. Upon noticing the cars, my wife mentions that her parents - who are staying with us right now, are having a poker game tonight. Thrilled with the prospect of a house full at 11pm, I then realize I have no spot in my driveway. I can't park on the street because we are a snow emergency route and if I am on the road after midnight during the winter I will get a ticket. So now I am slightly annoyed to say the least. I settle in to look at the Café and kill some time, when I notice that a deck of cards is missing from my desk. I do a quick assessment. I have a bee deck, a green Bike deck, a Blue Bike deck, an invisible deck, and a - wait a minute, where is my stripped Bike deck? No, can't be. They would have noticed the paper in the box with the instructions, or at the very least the paper wrapper on the friggin deck identifying the deck. So I walk calmly up the stairs to visit the card game and sure enough, there they are, all bent up and sticky with everyones dirty hands all over them....grrrrr So, if anyone has a spare deck of stripped bikes, I'm in the market. Steve had a good laugh so we decided to share this one with the whole gang. Good Night

On a similar note, every month my friends and I get together for a friendly poker game. Even though I don't do card magic, and they all know that, I am the only one that is not allowed to provide a deck or deal.
Oh well... Jeff

LOL! Now you know why I don't play cards (aside from the fact that I am probably the worst card player on the planet)!
Also, if I win, I'm obviously cheating (even if I'm not) and if I lose, I'm "not good enough." So playing cards for money is a no-win situation for me. Sorry about the lost deck. Happy New Year anyway! Lee Darrow, C.Ht. http://www.leedarrow.com

Worst part was I wasn't even playing! I was half tempted to join the game and make enough to buy a few decks, but I am too honest!
Take care

Seems the only thing to do when you have visitors or kids around is to keep those things under lock and key! A gun cabinet would fit the bill nicely....
The difficult must become easy, the easy beautiful and the beautiful magical.
