I'm especially interested to know if this is original or if anyone is aware of a similar effect.
Also, is the method too obvious? Don't pull any punches.

I intended to have 3 colored beads for the vermouth flavors but didn't have any handy so I printed up some small cards. Ultimately, I'd like to add the chosen color bead to the shaker. Alternatively, I was thinking of having a long bartender's cocktail spoon made up with a "hot rod" for a handle and use that to force the color, transform the beads on the spoon (ala hot rod) and then use that as a "magic wand" to transform the color of the martini.
