Ever hear anything nice about a fellow NVMS poster? I have a strong belief that people should hear good things about themselves. Especially when they're true.
Just last night, a friend was talking about buying "Make it Magic" CDs from Arthur Stead a number of years ago (he estimated it at about 8 years). Said he spoke to Arthur on the phone and thought he got a great product and great service. Props to Arthur. John

Bob Cassidy takes strong positions here in NVMS and we don't always agree, but oustide of this place he's one of the nicest folks I've come across in here.
Devious is also a gentleman and we've shared some fun PMs together. Landmark and I also don't always agree, but we've also shared some thoughtful conversations. I second John's comment about Arthur. John's OK too. Nice thread John. That's just for starters.

S2000Magician is as nice a guy offline as he is around here.
It's just weird.

S2000 Introduced me to Pop at the Castle and he as intelligent in person as he is here. Another great person he is.

What a great idea to create a positive thread! Thanks for your kind comments about me, guys. I've "met" some real nice people here, in particular everyone who has contributed to the Speaker's Corner thread (you know who you are)! In addition, mastermindreader has been very approachable. He, Bob1Dog, slowkeenuth, PaulPacific, frankvomit, Devious and Daryl -the other brother have shared some great PM's.
Magnus, please tell your friend we've released several other CDs since 2008 ..... |

I'll add Paul Pacific and FrankVomit to my list as well.

Danny Doyle is a nice guy, a decent golfer (probably even better now) and a pretty good pinball player. His wife is very nice as well. Also, one time at O'Donovans (formerly Schuliens a name that should ring a bell to Windy City magic fans, or just close up magic fans in general because the place was legendary) he introduced me to his friend, the late Jimmy Krzak, who was an outstanding close up magician. Jimmy worked for us that night and it was such a pleasure.

Not only is S2000magician a nice guy, but he grows great habanera peppers, and he is generous on top of that!

Thanks Arthur. I myself never miss a post from Michael Baker. Always insightful and entertaining.

Excellent thread. Too often we forget that we all have something in common or we wouldn't be here.

Tom Boleware and Kyle Peron are two of the nicest and helpful guys I've had the pleasure of conversing with. They go above and beyond to help folks.
They contact people outside of the Café to offer help, check on their health, and just lend their ears. Good friends both. Bazinga! |
