This isn't really the right place to post this but...
I've been looking at a couple of the Fitzkee Trilogy books, Magic by Misdirection and Showmanship for Magicians. Recently, they were republished, but I've seen the Lee Jacobs editions on Ebay/Amazon for cheaper than the new ones (i.e. $12 on Ebay for the Lee Jacobs edition vs $22 at Vanishing Inc. for the new edition). Is it worth the extra money to get to new ones?
Are you watching closely?

Hi Roy,
I have the complete VI set and one of the three Lee Jacobs books. The Lee Jacobs edition provides the same information/text but isn't formatted very well and uses a block font style. Vanishing Inc has updated the format and made them easier to read. I would spend the extra money for the VI set but it really depends on your needs. If you just want to save money and read the information, go for the Lee Jacobs edition. |
