This is my experience at the show.
This was supposed to be homework, but I thought you guys would enjoy it. If any of you were lucky enough to have witnessed it, you'll know how amazing it was.

It was the 13th of December 2013. 300 people were waiting anxiously outside of “Le Gymnase”, a small theatre in the centre of Paris. It was situated on an old street, hidden amongst the Grands Boulevards, which in this day and age basically constituted the 9ème arrondissement of Paris.
The clock rang 15 minutes to 8, which meant that the show was about to start. Everyone around me seemed anxious and excited, whilst still remaining slightly nervous and unprepared for what they were about to witness in the next hour or so.
The show was called the Comedy Majik Cho, which was an unusual way to spell what was essentially just that, a funny magic show. No one knew what to expect, one thing was sure though: this was going to be a roller coaster of emotions and an unbelievable night. The show had been extended 8 times, playing for over 4 months. This was indicated to us by the big green signs attached to the outside of the theatre, which had a big picture of Arturo Brachetti, a world renowned change artist, and the star of the show. Arturo is a 53 year old Italian man that to this day still holds the Guinness World Record for the fastest costume change, in an unbelievable 1.3 seconds. This man was literally the best in the business, and this was his homage to the city that discovered him, Paris. Next to his picture, was written “And Friends”, with the list of 7 performers that would intervene during the show.
As we entered, we were all offered a deck of cards wrapped in a rubber band, with a very nice notice telling us not to open it until further notice, but reassured us that it would be during the first part of the show.
The theatre was huge, and the room was packed. It was decorated with beautiful green and gold ornates. The stage remained closed, but music emitted from the speakers. Two Italian men dressed in full tuxedos came out, and started talking and playing with the crowd. Laughter and enjoyment emitted from the audience, as the men started seating older women by giving them a kiss, congratulating intimidating looking men on the balcony of their girlfriends and passing a man's scarf around the theatre until it finally reached the 3rd floor of the theatre. The show started 2 or 3 minutes later. All along the show, I heard laughter, screams of amazement, “ooohs” and “aahhhs” coming out of this audience that now appeared to be under the spell of these 8 men.
Lasers defied all misconceptions, knives cut through fingers, a Rubik's cube was solved with a man's mouth, people floated, but no bunnies were in sight.
Then, Arturo came on, and the show really seemed to become something miraculous, as he took us all through a history lesson of what magic was and how it became what it is. He did this whilst changing clothes in what appeared to be less than a second, turning them into big Chinese Kimonos, Straight jackets and women's dresses.
Banana's appeared out of zipper's, and then all crazy types of things came out of there as well, like 6 4 meter flags, hands, and even people!
The show ended with an ode or a “homage” to Paris, the city that made Arturo famous. He did this by manipulating sand in amazing ways, turning it into the Eiffel Tower, birds and even trees. It was something that really had to be seen to be believed.
Quite a few people in the audience shed a few tears, a lot of laughs, btu most importantly, had a terrific time.
We were all invited to meet the crew backstage, and the show lived on hours after it's official ending.
The Comedy Majik Cho was a truly amazing experience for everyone, and it even ended with a 10 minute standing ovation.
