I am introducing myself to IT magic, and I just happen to have some paper and linen US singles around with which to practice.

But I wonder how my Canadian friends are coping with the new polymer Canadian bills. They don't really fold or crumple. Have you found any use for them in close-up levitation effects, or when you borrow a bill do you look out for older paper currency that can be easily crumpled and folded?

You are right about the texture of our new bills. You can still perform a bill switch using the standard method TT or wrap a bill around a TT and pull a silk or produce salt by using this procedure.
