Really????? Well...well......I'm just staggered that they would lie to us like that.

I really like these shows and hope they don't change. While the 30 minutes is said in a bit of jest, they are letting their audience know how hard it will be to learn the effect -- something I like to know. They obviously play around when they say things like "Here is the patter and such" - they are letting you know it is a trick you can learn relatively quickly, but to make it a performance piece will take significantly more time.

What on earth about their demos would make you think they are performances?

The word "demo" by itself doesn't mean anything unless it's referencing something. I've already suggested that I'm fine with their demos. But clearly they've put much less than 30 minutes work into some of them. Not sure why you're stumbling over yourself to defend them. |

I would like to point out that WPR is not the only review show; this thread is not only in reference to WPR.
Thank you all for your thoughts. |

I used your 4DT as an example because it is a great example of a presentation so well honed that few could see any way of improving on it or fail to be influenced by it. Show me a basic performance of something and I have a blank canvass with which to work. Mark |
