I received these props about 6 weeks ago and they are fantastic. I have a Mike Rubinstein rattle purse that I'm working into a routine. Strong recommendation to buy.

I'm waiting for the coins to arrive but received the pdf yesterday. One word, outstanding! Simple, but so beautifully put together, great storytelling mystery. This will lead nicely into 'The Green Man' methinks! Thanks Prof

Well, my coins arrived today but the pdf has not yet arrived. I emailed Lebanon Circle requesting the pdf, but it is past midnight on a weekend there, so they should send it next week.
The coins are lovely, and the set of practice coins was included. I already know that I will want to use the coins in performing my version of the Ted Karmilovich copper/silver effect, but am eager to see what other options the pdf teaches. George |

A mysterious hoard of Lycan Moon/3 Wishes has been discovered and is available now! Thought to have sold out over 4 years ago, Prof BC has discovered 15 copies in his studio which presents you with a rare opportunity to obtain a brand new copy straight from the Prof!

I don’t know if it’s just my eyes but the difference in the gold and silver color isn’t initially apparent to me from the newsletter pics. Maybe the texture breaks up the color more than a normal coin. For those who own this, is it more apparent in person? I don’t want to have a child not understand the effect if they don’t pick up on the color change. The idea is great. I wasn’t around for the first set so I’m intrigued.

It’s a really lovely set of coins, but the reason I sold mine years ago was exactly that—I found it very difficult to tell the difference in person. I’m not sure why exactly, but the contrast just doesn’t pop like it does with a regular copper/silver. It could have been just my set, but I think a couple of other people commented on that issue also.

Not to undermine Lebanon at all.. and it's safe to say they are now sold out.. but I'll probably pick up some moon coins from etsy and just use rub n buff to create a set with more contrast. Like a dark copper and a lighter silver.

I purchased the original set set back in the day. And in the manual I got the colors were addressed on page six in a large disclaimer box. The subtle color variation is intentional. The idea as the manual states is so you can handle the coin freely and not worry about people noticing the difference. The colors don't need a sharp contrast cause rarely are the shown along side other coins and in two thirds of the routines the coin never changes, the participants get what they get.

I, too, can now count myself as one of the owners of these "magical" coins. As everyone has mentioned, these are truly beautiful to behold!
I'm now also the proud owner of Prof. BC's "Ossuary". IMHO, this makes a GREAT companion to "Lycanthrope Moon" and I highly recommend it! But, needless to say, I'm now hooked on the Professor's wares. Expensive, yes. But, entirely worth it. And, I look forward to his next creations, (especially the "Brothers Grim" Dopps)!!! Thank you, Professor. |

I know it is a long shot, but is anyone looking to part with their lycanthrope moon?

Chris, You are absolutely right about that new discovery. I am addicted to catching up on so many awesome things that I missed out on. And future things too. I posted this in the faerie shilling page, but I was actually able to get a lycanthrope moon and a faerie schilling from the same person. You never know what you might get, if you do not ask. So maybe we should see if anyone is willing to part with Excalibur or The Holy Grail. If they both come up, we can split them. You can have first choice.
