I just bought a Credit Slasher without the box or instructions. Would anyone who has the instructions be willing to scan a copy of them and send them to me? Many thanks for any help you can provide.

Anyone? I'm happy to provide proof that I have the effect.
Thanks - Mark |

You close the slide from left to right. Put a credit card into the slot from the top. Use the toothed wheel and run it noisily along the ridge at the top of the slide from side to side. Open the slide but leave the gimmick in place: the lower half of the credit card has vanished as if cut off.
Restore by closing the slide so it covers the gimmick. Reveal that the other end of the toothed wheel is a magic wand. Wave it over the apparatus, and pulled open the slide, taking the gimmick with it, to reveal the restored credit card. Simple. Oh--that might be "Credit Surprise." Can't remember. The other one is even easier. You drop the spectator's credit card in the top, then take the little sword and insert from the back and push forward, then go up and down. Open the little door in front so the credit card remains visible, and move the sword up and down again. Then close the door and reverse procedure to end. |

Thanks, Richard - that's what I had put together on the method. I'm surprised Tenyo didn't develop some kind of locking mechanism like so many other effects they've put out over the years.
Thanks again- Mark |

Neither prop can be examined by a spectator, even if it did lock, so I assume there wasn't much point.
