I gotta go with Sponge on this..... I had it happen one time,,, but we always use backdrop, even just simple pipe and drape. Always great to know what your venue is and be prepared.

A backdrop is the way to go. Even if you normally don't use one, it's a good idea to keep one in the car, truck, or van. It's rare when you have a wall full of mirrors, but there are many times when the background wall is simply distracting. In such cases, it's only a few extra minutes to set up your backdrop.

I performed once with a line of mirrors behind me, it presented no problems as most were blocked by my body. It sure impressed the audience, afterwords a number of the audience members mentioned how impressed they were having of a wall of mirrors behind me.

If you are stuck in a situation like that without a backdrop, take off one of the table covers and tape it to the mirror behind you.
