One edge or two?
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

The key word there is credible. When a person has it in their head that something is such, oh say that NOBODY seeks votes from non-citizens, credible can often take a back seat.

Why would I care about (R)'s given list of reasons?

Demonstrably false. http://www.mrctv.org/videos/should-illeg......-america

So now the question becomes, "Who is it that thinks that non-citizens should be allowed to vote?"

Can you still carry a shillelagh? (Like the same old one my father brought from Ireland?)

Absolutely. In fact there is an entire, forgotten, stick fighting art form. But traditionally men stuffed their hats with straw so there was no real danger from shillelaghs, unlike knives.

I've seen a heavy steel breastplate demolished by a shillelagh so I won't trust my cranial integrity to a bit of grass Smile

The UK has similar knife laws to Ireland. You can only carry a folding knife if the blade is 2" or less, and it cannot be locking. There has been an impact over the years, in terms of knife crime, but in domestic violence, knives are predictably common. Teenaged gang members tend to pinch a knife from the kitchen according to police officers I've spoken to. But the penalty for being caught carrying one, which is fairly severe, does seem to have worked to a degree as a deterrent.

My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums.
