I saw this "new" book on hocus-pocus (Sheherazade, by Borodin). It seems to be the translation of a german book. I can't find any review or information.
Someone knows the content of the book?

Absolutely a must have for storytelling magicians. If you like the work of Punx, then you'll like this.

I have this, and found it superb reading... and I haven't even tried anything from it yet! The stories are amazing, and flexible enough to put your own magic around.
Wicked book, Liam. |

Do we need to buy lots of things and strange artefacts for the effects ?
(in many bizarre magick books, you have to use very strange things!).

Sheherazade is one of the most amazing books that I have ever read. Borodin work remembers me, in some sense, Robert Houdin’s work.
There is a lot of mechanics and unusual objects or self working “toys”, but I think that precisely, make the effort to find the appropiate objects is part of the joy of this kind of magic. It’s not for the lover of olympic sleights. Methods are very simple and you need to be really good as storyteller to pull this off. |

Sweet, totally sweet. Definitely worth your soul. You do have a few spares around, right?
