If you know how to use a T.T it wont matter what color it is. So tried of racist comments.

"light-skinned caucasion," and for that reason alone it is immensely irritating--and frankly racist
Alan Wong what have you got to say for yourself LOL. Sorry, that has made my day. |

A racist TT created by an asian guy! Lmao, seriously stop using race where it isn't a factor, it's insulting to all the truly horrible race issues we actually do have.

May I suggest the Paul Diamond lecture? It's on sale as a download:

You can simply color a TT to any color you wish. Simply sand the TT with some medium grit sandpaper, then go to your local drug store or Walmart and visit the lipstick section. Pick the color you want, dab some on the sanded TT work it in and wipe excess off. Done..

I can understand the frustration of not being able to buy a thumbtip in your skin tone BUT I'd guess it's merely a matter of numbers.
Even the most racist manufacturer in the world would happily produce darker TT if there was enough demand. |

I know magicians have some issues pertaining to the device, based on their skin tone. One of the best comedy magicians ( and street performers ) Chris Capehart uses a standard Vernet, with no alterations.
He teaches a silk vanish on his 2 dvd set: http://www.murphysmagic.com/Product.aspx?id=43616 No matter what skin tone/color someone has, you really only need a standard Vernet. |

I have a Fredi tt. It looks real as hell. But I use my Vernet mostly. The looks of the HD look really good. I don't think thay make Fredi TT anymore.

I just ordered one of these. Sounds like it might be a bit small, but probably no smaller than the Vernet tips.

I have normal sized hands (i tend to believe)
yet this thumb tip is too small for me. also it's very stiff hence no leeway |

I've used the same Vernet tip for about 20 years. I can't believe I haven't lost it.

I have done both of these to resolve the problem: 1) Darken it by soaking it in a bath of hot tea. Works best on the softer TT. 2) Have a buddy who paints with air-brushes paint the TT to match my skin. Works best on the harder TT. If you're not one who likes to freely show the hand, then none of this really matters, though.
