Hello all!
I recently purchased a (very cheap) cups and balls set. As it turns out, the balls that were supplied with the set are actually rubber and just made to look like they are the knit balls. Have any of you out there ever tried to make your own balls for a cups and balls routine, and if so, could you possibly provide me with instructions on how to make them? Obviously, I could just purchase new balls that are actually made properly, but I just think it would be more fun to make my own Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks |

This will show you the basic process.
http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-c......uctions/ You will of course, build your crochet cover over a solid ball as a core. That core will dictate the curvature of the cover. You can use cork or wood if you want to embed a magnet in one of them. Below is a set I made more than 20 years ago.

If anyone else out there is looking at this I found another instruction video that teaches how to make a smaller ball that seems more suitable for a cups and balls routine
