Maybe that's because it IS "We Are the World."

The vid wouldn't work for me but I'm familiar with the song.
One of my favorite memories is sitting on the grass outside the Center Pompidou in Paris with people from all over the world joining in and singing this song. Left everyone feeling happy. |

Hope you don't mind General, I re-posted with the correct format. (To embed youtube videos, just copy the numbers and letters after the = sign, in this case OoDY8ce_3zk, between the youtube codes)

General Magician sings "We are the world.....We are the children..." LOL! I meant to write in my post that this thread reminds me of the song "We are the world!"

Reminds me of the man walking along a beach shore covered with washed-up, dying starfish and notices a boy throwing them back into the ocean, one by one. The man says to the boy that there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish, and that he’ll never make a difference. As the boy throws a starfish back into the ocean, he says, “I just made a difference to that one.”

Good message Tom!
People in the rescue community always use this line as it can be daunting that one is unable to help them all, but for the ones they do ..it makes a difference. The same can be said for those who work with people who are troubled. Tommy, also had a good point and I would like to add that musicians or other types of artist (magicians perhaps?) can bring a bit of happiness to the world. This is one of my favorite vids from the group, Playing for Change. Gathering musicians from all over the world in their home countries that collaborated on a song , Stand by Me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oiPzU75P9FA |
