What the heck do you do with them?
It seems somehow wrong to delete them, but foolish to keep them. What do you do?

Change their address to either heaven or hell, according to whether they were cool or warmers.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

Meybe get new address book, but keep the old one in a drawer for sentimental reasons, if you like.
Maybe erase them from where they are, and add them to the back of the book (if you have some extra pages at the end). Assuming your book is physical, rather than digital. If digital, maybe a separate folder could be created for them.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

My current book is digital. But I remember this dilemma when I used paper.
I'm oddly sentimental, I guess, but I don't like the thought of erasing someone who died. No problems erasing people who p!ss me off, though

I delete them.
Not that I object to sentimentality, but I don't express sentimentality through my (electronic) address book. To be sure, I'm relatively young (... at least, according to those my age and older!), and I don't have a lot of friends who have died. I have a few, but I often remember them when they come up in stories. I think if I had a list of folks I knew who have died, it'd be a little... morbid. |

Heck, find someone with the same address as well. Why be inefficient?

I've seen a few fellows who have tattoos with MOM written on their arms - perhaps they can be added to your phone list?

Yeah, and they're at the same address as Mom.
