Each summer I get reminders of conditions.

The spiral that seem to , but don't come apart provide
A nice visual and quiet moment.

If I wait to long in summer shows , my hands are too sweaty to provide the visual illusion.
My solution is to use it early in the program.

There's lots of sweat tips on the Café. I can't remember any about this.

Suggestions are appreciated.

Lol. My thoughts exactly. I wasn't sure if I was reading a post or a bowl of alphabet soup. Smile

A video is worth 1000 bowls of alphabet soup.

I use a much larger version.

Hope that helps those not familiar with the spiral.

Some may have gone in their minds to the shrinking head or just didn't know.

I appreciate those that are great writers and those that ask questions.

Aha! I too was rather confused, thanks for the vid. Have you tried some talc powder on your hands just prior to performing it?

No.

Perhaps an effect or joke, using the powder, just prior to using the spiral.

Thanks.

Thanks for the PM. I can see getting a lot of mileage out of that simple little illusion.

I love the simplicity, multiple applications, ages and venues where it can be used

As I mentioned mine is much bigger and sturdier than the one shown in the video

I also like the price.

side note, I am awed by those of you that write as well as you
Perform.

What exactly are these spiral contraptions called?
Are they available anywhere?
I couldn't find anything listed on Amazon...

I like the "puzzle" but is it entertaining on stage? Is it magic, or just a challenge?
