A fellow magician did a card trick for me that was awsome. I picked a card, and as he held the deck I put the card half-way back in the deck. From there he controlled the card. Just wondering if this sounds familiar to anyone, and if it does, what is the control called?

From your description it could be virtually any control.. could you be more spesific in your description?

If you mean he controlled the card to the top?
Well, if he did, it's probably a classic pass, though to early to say, you will have to go into more detail.. -e-

Yes, I should have been more descriptive. My appologies. I slid the card somewhere in the middle of the deck; half way in. The thing is, he took it from there and pushed it the rest of the way. Now I know a little bit about card control from the bottom or top of the deck, but the middle? I looked for a finger break and did not see it. Anyway it was awsome! Just wondering if it might be a certain type of control, middle control. Now that Im asking, it sounds like a silly question.

Dear Yogibear,
What did he do to the deck after he slid it the rest of the way in...did he shuffle it, cut it, anything? -Capt. Merkle

If my memory serves me, I believe he pushed the card in and droped them from the right hand to the left hand a little at a time, like one would drop a Svengali deck.

Thanks for all of the suggestions.
A Dribble pass is something I will have to check out. Sounds good.
