Expensive for what's provided.

Those look great! I like how one appeals to coin magicians, and the other to card magicians. And the price is even nicer (under $5.00).
I see both are already up at MJM Magic for anyone who is interested: Perfect Vanish: http://www.mjmmagic.com/store/-p-18986.html Blanco Change: http://www.mjmmagic.com/store/-p-18987.html Thanks to Michelle and Murphy's for the update! |

Would love a review on the perfect vanish -- looks really nice. Especially interested in level of difficulty.

Sales have been pretty strong considering we just released it so hopefully someone will pop in and let you know their opinion about the level of difficulty.

Perfect Vanish is good, will take quite a bit of practice though, I really can't seem to get the move at all. 6 min long download, a lot of content!

I do not know the method, but I saw him perform this at Fechter's (where the trailer is obviously filmed) and it looks even better live. Well done!

I don't understand this "perfect" vanish. It looks terrible to me. The motion he makes right before he closes his hand looks like he is clearly about to take the coin in his other hand. I'm so confused.
The truly perfect vanish is a classic perfected retention. (I finally have a perfect retention after years of practice.) This just doesn't compare. Maybe I'm seeing it in a different way than everyone else? Idk, it just looks very obvious to me. Not close to a "perfect" vanish at all. |

I also saw this live at FFFF and it does look great live guys. If you already have and use a retention don't get it but if you want to learn a fooler this is good.

Maybe it's just you two? I know I'm pretty impressed. The retention of vision is most impressive and totally looks like he puts the coin in his hand.
I just brought my son in here to look at the video and his jaw dropped when he saw it. He was impressed. He was even like, "he put the coin in his hand and closed in around the coin and it vanished! You could see him drop it." I submit that perhaps you are looking at it with a jaundices magicians eye. IMHO, your mileage may vary... Quote: On Jul 10, 2014, Magic.Maddy wrote:

That retention vanish looks bad on camera...It literally looks even better in person....I wanted to cry after he showed it to me. Its insane and a steal for 4.95..
Love the Blanco change, and Allec is one of the coolest guys around, highly recommend! |

To me, the angle the coin is at at the very last moments of the fist closing seem completely counter productive to the natural movement of putting a coin in a hand.
It must look much better in person. It really isn't too hot on camera. |

The Perfect Vanish is nice in the sense that there is very little right finger movement. It's hard to do with half dollars though. I didn't like the lack of talking in the video. There's just text that goes on screen. The teaching is okay, but I think it could have been explained a little better. Hard to complain, though, given the price.

I met Toni in Italy in March 2013, saw his retention vanish... I have been trying to reproduce it since then!
He's a good friend, and the video download tips the move, but in my opinion this needs a lot more explanation than that. The viewing angle of he spectactor(s) seems to be totally ignored in the video, you are left wondering in what situation or routine are you going to show this... I would have paid more for a detailed explanation on this... just my two cents. The really valuable thing (the vanish) in the 6 min video takes only 2 min. If you know me by my works I always fill the media with all the aspects about the trick, be IT, card moves, or gimmicks usage. |
