Can anyone recommend a good camcorder, something that connects EASILY to a computer? What I mean is, one that doesn't need any software? A few years ago I bought a canon camcorder but the software was crazy complicated. Any help?
Thank you! |

Frankie, the easiest way is to use a memory card that inserts into the camcorder. Next do one of the following:
1. Your computer should be able to read the memory card directly from the camcorder with a USP cord connected. or 2. Take the memory card out of the camcorder and insert it into a card reader connected directly into the computer's USP. |

When you place it in the back of the room, are you ever concerned that people will mess with your camera, or accidentally knock over the tripod?

If I had that type of concern I would not put it there. I only put it in the areas I feel more relaxed. No one has ever knocked it over. But there have been times a child has bumped into it or an adult stood in front of the camcorder. But no problem because I do multiple shows throughout the week.

It does not have a hard drive disk built into it like mine has. It only uses a SDHC memory card. It records in HD. Make sure your computer can have video install in HD. |
