I have no back up plan Jolly- It doesn't matter where I am, I'm not very educated. Haha.

I see that Potty and Roger are bragging about being Scottish when they aren't. I, on the other hand AM Scottish. I was born in Glasgow and used to speak with a Scottish accent and indeed I still do with odd words here and there. However, I was not descended from Royalty as Roger claims he was. My grandfather was a Russian horse thief and army deserter. Wickedness runs in the family.
I see that Eric is bragging too. Only Eric can brag about how much money he doesn't have! But yes. I do agree with Eric. Potty is an absolute disgrace posting that video and trying to weasel out of it by pretending he is the president of Carl's fan club. Oh, and I have reached a milestone too. I have made 132 posts. You might not think that is very much but it is actually a record for me. Do you think I will make it to 150? |

"Marmen" does not sound very Scottish to me!!! It seems that your relations have something to do with "Wind Energy." http://www.marmeninc.com/en/careers/work-at-marmen/

It is very beautiful.....but not many people about, really, when you get out of the cities. Anyhow, it's ridiculous to claim that I posted Carl Dwyer's video again because I wanted to poke fun at him. Come on, this is a real little classic. Watch it again, and when the Flito Flower routine is cut (after he brilliantly can't make the flower head fall off, no matter how hard he sneezes), stop the video, and imagine the kids' reaction as Carl correctly performs it.....and then carry on watching. It's a really good show, just been edited to make it appear to be totally magician failing - but that is WHAT WE DO! Is it not? |

You have to take Eric's milestone and divide that by 3 as most of his postings are repeats of the same message.

Lol, what's ironic about that statement, is that half of Gerry's comments are about me. Go figure.

Now Eric . . that's really not true. If you look at all my postings you'll see that I cover a wide spectrum of topics ranging from kid shows, illusions, famous magicians, magic history, etc. Most kid show magicians would be totally out of their league discussing such topics.
I honestly do not have an ax to grind with you anymore. What I said here, though, is a fact. I know it was an accident on your part, but it is true that many of your postings are repeat messages. Nice try, though. Gerry |

'Most kid show magicians would be out of their league discussing some topics'- Cocky are we. Hysterical, the last post I remember you posting was something like, 'I don't want to give Eric anymore attention on here'. We've all gotten it for a while Gerry, 'you're not a fan of mine'. Lol, We get it, I get it, my dog if I had one gets it.
I was joking with you. I don't think half your posts are about me, but you probably bring up my name more than anyone else. Also, and I'm being serious here-who says statements like, most kidshow magicians would be out of their league. I mean, who says that. Are you putting down kid show magicians are propping yourself up. I'm not sure you realize how many kid show magicians are out there, so for you to think you know the intellect and knowledge they have on various topics, etc, is just strange to me. 'Out of their league', you're not dating a supermodel-talking about those topics, um, I'm sure others have a curiosity about the history of our craft. Out of all your posts, Gerry, that might be the strangest. In mean that, with all due respect, though |

Oh, I know someone who mentions Eric more than Gerry. His name is the Great Zucchini!
However, to defend Eric I must challenge Gerry's assertion that most kids entertainers don't know about other stuff. On the contrary many of them are quite well versed in other branches of magic. I know for a fact that Jolly Roger is, having done many adult shows. I know Kimmo is, having worked for one of the biggest magic dealers in the world. I certainly know that I am. I am most certainly not "out of my league" and in fact I can chatter about every magical subject under the sun and if Gerry has a look around the magic Café he will see all sorts of evidence of my genius in all matters magical. I DO know about "kid shows, famous magicians, magic history" And I know about mentalism, psychic readings, hypnotism, and card tricks too! And how to rip off the populace as Svengali pitchman! You have me on illusions though................... I will admit that Eric doesn't know about those subjects but then some of us are born to lead and some of us are born to follow. He is a *** good children's entertainer though! |

Oh, Marmen, I know what I know, and I know what I know, and you're right. I don't know about some of those other subjects. Ok, fine, Gerry is 2nd to me, talking about me, but top 3 is still pretty up there.
I will say this, though, I agree with you, though, that so many entertainers have knowledge about lots of different avenues, and I didn't really get the statement. If you want to talk sports, though, I challenge any of you. If you want to talk about leaving a good tip(hint, hint), I'm good, If you want to talk about the Bachlorette, I can take you to task. We all excel at certain things. |

Also, for the record, Marmen, I only bring up myself, when defending an attack- You'll never just see me bring myself up, on my own, usually. It's usually when I've been provoked, um, for the record.

Yes indeed Eric. I stand corrected. I have always considered you a paragon of modesty that we should all emulate. And I consider "tipping" to be a silly North Americanism and I want nothing to do with it. As for "the Bachlorette" I have no idea what that is anyway. Probably some American thing.
