Hi,

As is obvious by my absence on this part of the site, I am no longer doing coin magic. I have moved strictly to Mentalism.

But I have collected a lot of coin gaffs (mostly from Lassen) in last few years that I intend to sell.

The issue is that I am based in India. When I purchased the gaffs, I used fedex international only to get the coins safely. But now how do I ship them safely outside from India. Fedex may not be an option here as the buyer may not want to pay for premium shipping (fedex is not cheap). Please suggest a reliable way to ship the gaffs.

Thanks for your time.

PS: If anyone is interested in buying, please PM me and I will send a list. Thanks

I would turn your question around -- what (if any) methods other than Fedex to YOU trust to ship things safely, or to be reimbursed by the carrier if the package is lost or damaged?

If none, then it should me made clear that the buyer may choose other methods, but they must then assume all risks.

You could send the whole lot FedEx to someone in another country and have them sell and ship for you.

I would not sell so quick.
Never know when you might come back to coin magic again.

Thanks Sir, but its not a good idea to take risk with coin gaffs. Even if the lost gaff is paid by insurance, the loss is still more then monetary as the person who takes it will simply sell it for silver Smile

@Tom G

Thanks Sir, Its a great idea.

@bowers

You're right Sir. I am keeping a few that I have really mastered.
Also, it was a deliberate decision over a period of time and not a quick one.

Depends if they are Lassen gaffs. He hallmarks his coins, excluding c/s. But all my ] are hallmarked.

I have a business here in the UK, and I always get sent my parcels via DHL from India.

Yes, as I don't have a reliable method to ship yet.

@boydy

Does the DHL package comes to you unopened?
