I was wandering if they're good quality?
I'm not that much of a "traditional" magician. So a wand might look a bit out of place. However, I'm thinking time to get one, just to try it out. Any experiences? Here's the link. Its dirt cheap too. $4.00 http://themagicwarehouse.com/general2.html#mi3001 |

Keith,
I purchased 1 of these to check just for the price. It is a wood wand with metal tips. I think it looks good but will not last a long time. The gimmick is cloth and will get dirty and wear out over time. No it cannot be inspected. It could be a nice throw away effect during another trick. It is made very well for $4. Bill |

Wow thanks for taking the jump Bill!
I'm looking for a solid wand so I guess its out of the question... I appreciate the review though! |

Keith,
The wand is solid, I would by it for the gold metal tips and throw away the gimmick and paint the red wand black, if all you want is wand to use for your close up magic. Bill |

I got a really cool wand from jim pace. It's called wanderful. Its a clear tube with metal ends containing different colered lights. By pressing the buttons you get different colored light effects as well as strobing effects. When I first joined the Café I posted a question on where to find them and received no replies so I think the're pretty unique!

Elisd,
Your special wand sounds interesting. But if you cannot turn it off at the proper time it may take away from your magic. Bill |

I saw one guy perform a color changing wand routine, but it was a terrible paddle sleight variation. I didn't like it.
Just a thought.

The 1st trick I purchased from Abbott's was a Color Changing Wand. You get 2 wands a great routine.
