Yes, thank you very much, Bob. All our well wishes to everybody.
Has anybody heard from Jheff? In addition to this release being (understandably) delayed without any information from him, I emailed him a few days ago and haven't heard anything that way either. Just hoping all is well. |

Sorry, guys, for not replying. I've been getting lots of inquiries and, for some reason, the broadcasting feature on my shopping cart is not working the way I want it to and I wanted to simply send a message to all, which, by now, you know: it's not out yet.
BTW, when Bob says he's sending me the final eBook today, that means HIS final version. I'm still going to take a little time going over it to make it look better. I'll keep you posted. - Jheff

The wait is over. The book will be sent out tomorrow morning to all those that pre-purchased. I'm just giving it a final edit and proof tonight.
For those that missed the pre-order, the book will be officially released on Monday, September 29, and instantly downloadable at that time. Thanks for all of your patience, Jheff

Jheff just sent me the final edited version. It looks so good I may just read it myself!
For those who wonder who the guy is on the cover, it's Mr. Memory from Hitchcock's classic, "The Thirty-Nine Steps." More information at: http://marketplaceofthemind.com/products/mastcard/ |

I have to admit that this is the only card routine that has actually made my antennae quiver, which is an unsettling sensation. I've seen Bob do this and one of the key impressions was a steadily increasing sense of...well...wonder. I went from "this is kind of cool" to..."seriously?" to "holy crap...is he going to do ALL of them?" Finally..."He DID do all of them...how?..."
Nuances, pacing, clever logical disconnects and solid presentation elevated this presentation out of the standard "memory show off" routine into something quite wonderful. I loved it and am looking forward to reading this. David

Just finished reading through the PDF and, as expected, I loved it! I first learned the routine in the Art of Mentalism 2, but even though I already know the routine, I still found this PDF valuable. I liked learning about the origins of Bob's routine and how it progressed through the years, the variations, the possible alternatives. I especially liked learning about the 5 Card Memory Routine. It can be a shorter routine and also can work in a strolling environment since you don't need the spectator to drop cards on the floor. Finally, the Comedy Relief presentation made me laugh just thinking about it. Depending on your style, this can be a real change of pace and add a lot of fun and laughs to your show.

The only problem for me was that it played so big and was rather lengthy. This was a problem since I am mainly a close up performer for now. I'm really excited to hear of a shorter version. I also love the fact that Bob closes his act with this. Genius. Matthew |

I don't do close-up "strolling" mentalism. But the fake five card version would work in that environment. The "real" version wouldn't be as practical because you'll get thoroughly confused if you try to do it "straight" multiple times in a period of just a few hours.

Bob, why would it confuse you? Is the "real" version you speak of the same as in the penguin lecture and in Art 2 ?

By "real" I mean doing it with actual memory. That's explained in the eBook as well. The "fake" versions only simulate mnemonics.
BTW- a couple of people had trouble with the link to one of the videos in the eBook. I inadvertently set it as "private" rather than "unlisted." That has been corrected so the links should work fine now. |

It is funnier when you listen to Bob tell it. It's a great interview. Check it out.
