Theory 11 is naming this the best trick on The Wire for 2014.
I'm surprised this thread didn't go longer. |

Very clever trick in My opinion, if done right you will get a great reaction 10 out of 10 preformaces.
although the trailer features some slight false advertising/camera edits to make the effect look better. doesn't affect the secret of this trick but thought you should know |

Thanks for the feedback.
I picked it up, and am happy with it. I think it's going to take a while to feel comfortable with it, but I never had a disappointed realization as I learned how it was done. It's a very solid piece that could play very strong. |

Can it be done surrounded or is it angle sensitive?

It's difficult to answer that question - I would say it's a bit angle sensitive but it's possible to present this to a group of people if played well

So, is this really good ? Why is there a big cut in the demo ? Can the 2 friends really talk to each other afterwards ?

I watched this last night and absolutely loved it.
Very simple and very, very clever! Yes, there is a clean up idea that allows the 2 friends to talk afterwards. I'm still not convinced it cleans up well enough though. That doesn't bother me. Personally, I would say this is more suited to the performer who doesn't mind a bit of DR/ Instant ********. |

Seems like now there is a PDF file which lots were saying was the only negative. I am very tempted!

I know it has been a while since this thread was active, and although I purchased Blackout a few years ago, I have an idea of how to use it now!
So, my question is has anyone tried this on stage? Also, should we make a thread downstairs as mentioned above to discuss details? Thank you! |
