Now this is the kind of story telling that I like with the cups and balls.

The story and magic were great.

The timing and her performance was flawless.

Fun too hear and watch. Take a look at this and see what you think.

One of my favorites too. If you do a search, you'll see lots of discussion about this performance here on the Café.

Suzanne has a new DVD out that discusses her approach to magic entertainment. Well worth purchasing to hear her point of view on building your show. Not a "trick" DVD. Don't purchase if you want to learn how to perform a new trick. Do purchase if you want to learn how to be a better performer.

Yes David, I did do a search on Suzanne. Wow! She has a whole lot of admirers. From some of the very top magicians.

All though I really am not surprised. I can not see how anyone would find fault with her performance.

I am usually bored with some of the storytelling, along with cups and balls, but not with her. She was great at both.

Her storytelling added so much to her faultless routine and made it her own.

I agree with 55Hudson, her DVD is really worth the price and stands up to repeated viewings.

Suzanne has a feel for magic and what it is supposed to be that is far different from what you will see at your local magic club meeting. What she does is HER all the way. She doesn't go into "David Blaine" mode or "Gazzo" mode or "Vernon" mode at any point in her act. Her act is based on truth. And that's why the timing and everything else works so well.

Nice original routine. Very nice.
Timing is everything. Bill Malone has a routine-rub a dub dub that is funny but the timing is critical. I worked on that and it helped my timing in all my cups and balls routines.

What are some other examples of story telling with cups and balls?
