SPIRITUALISM, SEANCES & SAM Our New Exhibition! Open during regular museum hours. Exhibit included with admission. The Mark Twain House & Museum with Calvin Von Crush presents Ouija boards, spirit horns, and séances, OH MY! Just in time for the Halloween festivities, this brand new exhibition will examine the Victorian era’s fascination with the afterlife, Mark Twain’s interest and involvement in the spiritualist movement, and period mourning practices. This exhibit will feature historic artifacts from private collections and other institutions including photographs, newspaper articles, and mourning paraphernalia. Exhibition admission is included with your Mark Twain House tour admission. Exhibition only admission is $6 for adults, $4 for children. Exhibition and related programs presented with the support of the Department of Economic and Community Development, Office of Tourism George A. & Grace L. Long Foundation, Bank of America, N.A., and Alan S. Parker, Esq., Trustees This exhibit runs October 10, 2014 through January 2, 2015. |

Thanks Silvertongue. This looks like it will be worth checking out. The Mark Twain house is really cool anyway. I'll go and post a review if anyone is interested.

I heard tell of a seance at the Twain museum not to long ago. Rumor has a certain Mr. Robbins might have brought back the spirit of the departed author.
But I don't ken to that kind of hearsay... |
